“By providing a quiet, calm, environment at fun events like board game nights, campfires, dinners, and more, the graduate ministry at St. Al’s is helping me to grow in faith, morals, and virtue. At these events, social interactions are not necessarily about school or technical and scientific things. Instead, edification in charity is what often happens, truth is the common currency, and faith is encouraged to come alive and get activated. Grounded by the sacraments, especially the Eucharist, brought to us by the faithful priests of St. Al’s, priorities are affirmed, virtue is fostered, and questions of faith and theology can be asked and answered. To study the works of the personal, creator God is fun and a delight. The ministry to grad students at St. Al’s has only supported my studies and engagement in that pursuit.”
