One of the joyful realities of a campus ministry is students meeting each other in a context of faith, and entering into the beautiful Sacrament of Marriage!
As a campus parish, St. Al’s is a place that is fully equipped, both practically and canonically, to celebrate wedding Masses and ceremonies. Down through the years hundreds of couples (more than 400 at last count!) have been married at St. Al’s, and hundreds more have done marriage preparation here and have been married at a home parish. It is a great blessing for a couple, whether dating, engaged, or married, to be rooted in the Lord, and in a common faith.
Many couples also learn to navigate gracefully and graciously differences in their faith background and beliefs. In both cases, St. Al’s walks with students at every stage of the journey.
Did you meet your spouse at St. Al's? Were you married at St. Al's? Share your story and photos with us! We will share them with the St. Al's community in the alumni newsletter, website, and on social media.
