Help upgrade St. Al&#039;s Parish Hall

FOR SO MANY OF OUR STUDENTS, ST. AL'S IS A HOME AWAY FROM HOME
as they pursue their studies hundreds of miles away from their families. It is the place where they find or grow their faith.

While the Chapel is the beating heart of St. Al's, so is the Parish Hall, the living room of the community. The parish hall is where many students first interact outside of Mass at donut or ice cream socials; a gathering place for homework groups and Bible Studies during the week; a venue for dances and talent shows on weekends.

The Parish Hall is the living room of the St. Al's community. But that room hasn't been updated in 60 years! A challenge grant has been awarded to help.

These upgrades include:

Remove and abate the asbestos-bearing tile
Upgrade the wall coverings and lighting
Address the lack of ADA-compliant bathrooms
Upgrade the kitchen, especially the cabinets and countertops

So far we have raised $62,694 toward our Matching Challenge Goal of $100,000!! Because of a generous challenge grant from Catholic Extension, for every two dollars raised we earn one dollar of the match!
