Allison Kublin (‘19 BS Human Centered Design NMU) never imagined she would work for a Catholic Parish. She now proudly calls St. Al’s home as the new Director of Data and Communications! “St. Albert’s is a very special parish. I am so excited to be a part of the inner workings and outer reaches here. It already feels like being part of large and loving family”
Allison has stepped into the Communications Director role, previously held by Sarah Williams. Some of her tasks will include orchestrating St. Al’s social media platforms, writing the St. Al’s newsletters, and delivering information to parishioners via email. She has also taken over the financial data processing duties previously performed by Development Director, Rhen Hoehn. This includes managing the St. Al’s database, processing online monthly giving, and tracking the campaign progress. She will also write the Yooper for Seminarians newsletter with Vocations Director, Fr. Ben Hasse.
She was born a Yooper, but grew up downstate, in Fremont, MI. When she graduated highschool, her family relocated to her father’s original hometown, Marquette, MI. She spent six years in Marquette, earning a bachelor’s degree in industrial design and human behavior from NMU, then using it as a homebase for some well-desired travel. In 2021, she bought her first home and moved to Hancock. Allison and her fiance, Samuel, are one of St. Al’s many engaged couples and will be getting married in October 2022. “God is so good.”
When asked what her favorite part of working at St. Al’s has been so far, she replied “The people I get to work with and see every day. Sharing this Holy Spirit-filled mission with the men and women at St. Al’s has been a blessing like no other.”
If you see her running around St. Al’s, say hi and ask her about her recent home improvements or rock climbing adventures! She is also looking for tips for her upcoming Isle Royale backpacking trip!
