Graduate Student Outreach: Maria Kwesiga

“When I would find it challenging to balance my activities with prayer, talking about it with my friends from Bible study helped me figure out ways that I could manage to have a place for Jesus in my daily life. Not having my family here with me, it feels great to have a community who become your family away from home. One of my most memorable moments is a prayer that Allie shared with me; St. Thomas of Aquinas’ student prayer. It’s a very encouraging prayer that I say before any study session.”
