As a FOCUS missionary at Bridgewater State University, Zach Smith serves students by “sharing the Gospel in the simple tasks of daily life through my witness, and in leading small group Bible studies and formation in how to live as a disciple of Christ. Being a missionary has deepened my relationship with the Lord in prayer.”
At St. Al’s one of Zach’s favorite games was ultimate ping pong. “I had the honor of teaching it to the students at BSU and it was a big hit with the men; we were playing for many hours before and after Bible study.”
Zach found a Catholic community at St. Al’s with individuals wanting to live their faith to the fullest extent. “Jesus Christ is truly at the center of the culture of St. Al's. Here I was formed and guided more and more in what it means to truly be a disciple of Jesus Chris, by witnessing and teaching the Gospel by way that they live their lives.”
“Without St. Al's I would not have been able to see clearly the personal call of Jesus for me to partake in His mission to save the world and to unite us back to the Father.”
