Zoë LaLonde FOCUS Campus Missionary | University of Wisconsin – Platteville
Zoe LaLonde leads Bible studies, prayer groups, and group mentorship to live out the mission “to know Christ and fulfill His great commission.”
Some of her favorite moments have been leading a mission trip to Belize with two students from Platteville, leading a prayer group, and walking with women in their journey of fulfilling the great commission. “The best of all is seeing the joy in women's faces when the idea of a prayer life and relationship with Jesus clicks and they start pursuing it.”
“At St. Al’s, my prayer life was fostered by a community cultivated around the Eucharist especially adoration and the Mass, which formed a good interior disposition for the graces of the sacraments to act on. Frequenting the sacraments of confession and Mass aided in listening to the Holy Spirit by welcoming Christ's graces into my life.”
Outreach events at St. Al’s helped Zoe build the confidence to initiate conversations with students and the social graces to meet new people spontaneously.
